Welcome tribute from proud British (and other)friends from a balcony overlooking the Thames, where many of these pics were taken. Thanks to our excellent host June.

It's a year since we said goodbye to these Clippers.

20th August 2017. Today this wonderful annual race started from Liverpool. It's always been a delight to watch from here at St Katharine Docks, but Liverpool Docks and Merseyside are excellent space wise, so huge numbers of people will appreciate it and be able to share the spectacle we have been so fortunately close to when they both start and finish. They will, no doubt, have an incredible year ahead.
