Today's Treasures At St Katharine Docks (11) Tribute to Peter Drew
Peter Drew lead Taylor Woodrow's development of the derelict St Katharine Docks, to become the Yacht Haven which has evolved into today's international Marina. The seat commemorates his influence in helping create the Heritage Walk. Peter not only regenerated St Katharine's, he also influenced the East London Docklands initiative and the idea to have a docklands museum. There was further tribute to him within St Katharine's, but was removed- he deserves to be better remembered. More pics. This is featured more fully in my book, The Story Of St Katharine's.
